The Dam Short Film Festival is held in charming Boulder City, Nevada, the town that built Hoover Dam.
Screenings are held at the historic 400-seat Boulder Theatre, built in 1933 and purchased in 1997 by Desi Arnaz, Jr., who restored the building to its former glory.
The Dam Short Film Festival hosts a Filmmaker/Press Lounge each season at The Boulder Dam Hotel where it also maintains an office year-round. Additional parties and events are held at local restaurants and bars.
